We recently asked all our partners to share stories about how they see Jesus working through the programs we do together. We shared two of these stories in our newsletter last week, and will highlight one a week between now and Giving Tuesday.

A Young Gabonese Girl Finds Healing and Freedom
Among the children attending the summer camp in Libreville, Gabon(July 21–August 3, 2025, in partnership with E4) was a 16-year-old girl deeply troubled by past trauma. Orphaned as an infant and raised by her grandmother, she had endured great hardship, including sexual abuse she had never shared with anyone. Haunted by pain and shame, she had withdrawn from church and felt tormented by evil spirits that deceived her into believing they brought her comfort.

One evening, she asked to speak with a counselor. As she shared from her heart about her struggles, the counselor prayed with her, and by the power of Jesus’ name, the spirits afflicting her were cast out. Over the next few days, she experienced continued prayer and complete deliverance.

Today, this young girl is restored. She has returned to church, reads her Bible, and prays daily. The team rejoices in her transformation and gives all glory to God for the healing and freedom He has brought to her life.

During this summer camp, which hosted about 250 children, 59 made the life-changing decision to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Many others, who had never prayed before, learned to pray and began experiencing the power of God’s presence in their lives. Throughout the camp, the team witnessed how prayer transformed hearts and deepened the children’s faith.

None of this would be possible without your generous support of E4. Your partnership allows us to equip and empower our ministry partners to share the Gospel and be a light in their communities.
