To serve those in need is to live out the Gospel. When we extend grace to those who cannot repay and show love through mercy, we share the heart of Jesus. As James reminds us, faith comes alive through action:
What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. (James 2:14-16)
Over the last twelve years, we have distributed over 1,000 wheelchairs and approximately 350 mobility carts in Gabon (pictured here). We have partnered with both Free Wheelchair Mission and Mobility Worldwide to give people dignity and mobility. Our church partner in Gabon has some carts left over that the team worked on and distributed this past summer, and Pastor Jacob has been distributing them since July. They are a perfect example of how helping people physically provides a platform for our partners to share the Gospel in both word and deed.

A Father’s Testimony
One of the first carts we delivered went to a father who is already a follower of Christ. After receiving his tricycle, he shared his testimony in his church:
“I met Jesus. Jesus saw my disability, sent His messengers to me, and they gave me this tricycle. Today, I can come to church by myself.”
His joy and renewed independence have become a powerful witness in his community.

An Unexpected Response
We delivered another tricycle to a man named Moussa, who is Muslim. After he left, another Muslim man who accompanied him pulled me aside and said,
“You Christians are good people. This man never received anything of value from the Imams. But you, Pastor, you gave this to him. One day, I will come and pray at your church.”
His words reminded us that simple acts of compassion can open doors and soften hearts in ways we could never plan.
None of this would be possible without your generous support of E4. Your partnership allows us to equip and empower our ministry partners to share the Gospel and be a light in their communities.
