“The size of a challenge should never be measured by what we have to offer. It will never be enough. Furthermore, provision is God's responsibility, not ours. We are merely called to commit what we have - even if it's no more than a sack lunch.”
– Charles Swindoll

Over the past seven years of operating E4 Project, we have seen God’s provision in more ways than we can count. We are so thankful for all of you who partner with us. You have allowed our partners in Gabon and Congo to care for their poor and needy and we have seen God work in amazing ways through the programs and projects we have been involved with.

Currently, we are watching our partner ministries in Gabon and Congo rise up, determine the needs of their communities and take the steps to plan accordingly to create sustainable solutions for their people. We are working to increase our capability to meet their needs here and one of the steps we have taken is hiring two more staff; one is full time and one is part time. They are working on growing our partnerships here in the states with churches, other non-profits and donors, as well as oversee programs in the countries we serve.

In the last two years we have also seen our partner ministries in Congo and Gabon grow rapidly. It is incredibly encouraging to see our partners view large problems in their communities and come up with action plans to tackle them. A few recent examples of this are the clinic being built at PK27 in Gabon, the malnutrition program in Nebobongo and new school opening next week in Congo. There is strong accountability in place, many ministry teams have formed and lives have been saved both physically and spiritually. Due to the progress we are seeing, we hope to significantly increase existing programs and help start some new ones. As an organization we knew we would struggle to keep up with the increased involvement and resources they will require. Continuing to act as a support system serving alongside our ministry partners and seeing the fruit produced through them is incredibly encouraging, and a testament to us of God’s love and and provision for His people.

Our ministry partners have several ambitious plans to address ongoing issues in their communities, care for an increasing number of poor and vulnerable people and increase program sustainability. To bring these plans to fruition, we need to bring more church partners, non-profits, and individuals to the table to partner with E4 Project and our Gabonese and Congolese ministries.

Here are 4 ways you can continue to partner with E4 as we try and meet the needs of our partners, knowing that provision is God’s role and we only bring forth what we can:
  1. Consider a one-time gift to our general account. Approximately 90% of our funds go straight to programs. While this is incredibly encouraging, if often leaves us with very little funds for administration. Our costs are low and payroll is really the main expense that we have.
  2. Make a monthly commitment to give to E4 general funds. You can set this up online. We will never take additional funds from program accounts to pay for administration, making regular monthly giving to our general fund a crucial aspect of investing in the growth of the E4 family.
  3. Spread the word - involve more members of your community and circle of friends in what we are doing. If you believe in the work we are doing, tell your friends about us. Introduce your churches to what we do and possibly make an introduction for us. Or let us know if there is someone we could reach out to and we will take it from there.
  4. Pray with us. Our team starts each week on Monday mornings in prayer together and we pray throughout each week for our partners, programs, donors and what God is doing through E4. Join us in prayer.
