The Evangelism Ministry for Children and Youth (MINE) serves vulnerable children and families facing difficult circumstances throughout Gabon. The country has experienced a troubling rise in the number of abandoned children, children living on the streets, and children affected by physical, psychological, or sexual abuse. Many others face severe neglect or come into conflict with the law. Each year, newborns are abandoned in public places or left outside shelters, while other children must be removed from their homes for their safety and protection.
For more than fifteen years, MINE has worked alongside vulnerable families to improve the health, safety, and well-being of their children. Rooted in the love of Jesus Christ, MINE seeks to meet both physical and spiritual needs. Through every program and interaction, the ministry shares the hope of the Gospel and reminds children and families that they are deeply loved, valued, and never forgotten by God.
Through E4 Project’s partnership and ongoing financial support, MINE has significantly expanded its ability to serve children and families over the past few years. Today, approximately 100 families receive support each year in the areas of health, education, and nutrition. MINE also distributes school kits to hundreds of children, many of whom also benefit annually from their various social programs.

These programs do more than meet immediate needs. They help children remain in school, gain access to essential healthcare, and receive the care and protection they need. Most importantly, they allow MINE to share the love of Jesus and the lasting hope found in Him, helping vulnerable children and families know that their lives have dignity, purpose, and a hopeful future.
Home for At-Risk Children
In response to the growing needs of vulnerable children in Gabon, MINE has begun construction of the Hadassa Reception Center. Pastor Hermanm, who founded MINE, and his wife are currently putting their resources into building a new center for vulnerable children. This new center will provide a safe and nurturing environment for children who are at risk, including those who have experienced violence, are living on the streets, are homeless, or lack the protection and care of a family. The foundation and exterior of the building are complete, and they are currently installing all windows and doors.
The mission of the Hadassa Reception Center is to care for each child’s physical, emotional, educational, and spiritual needs. Children will receive protection, psychosocial support, educational assistance, and compassionate care rooted in the love of Jesus Christ. Through prayer, biblical encouragement, and loving relationships, the center will share the hope of the Gospel and help children understand that they are deeply valued and loved by God.
Currently, we are seeking funding for our ongoing annual programs. We commit roughly $30,000 to these programs each year and cannot continue this without your help. Together, we can provide vulnerable children in Gabon with protection, dignity, and the opportunity for a safer and more hopeful future.
